Banff Christmas Cracker provides plenty of festive fun
The Banff Christmas Cracker brought plenty of festive cheer to the town on Sunday.
The event at Low Street and the Plainstones had a special visit from Santa and the tree lights were switched on.
There were also a number of community groups involved and stalls.
The event is organised by Kenny Grant from the Broken Fiddle cafe.
Children were able to visit Santa in his grotto throughout the afternoon.
Performing at the event were Portsoy Pipe Band, Banff Academy Choir and there was music from Starlite Disco to keep everyone entertained.
There was a fun fair with bouncy castle and a range of activities.
People were able to enjoy food and drinks from a number of vendors.
The event concluded with the switching on of the Christmas tree lights, which are new this year.
Garret Home Furnishings and carpet specialists from Macduff sponsored the Christmas tree.
John Stewart Quality Butcher in Banff supplied the burgers for the barbecue.
Mr Grant said: “We are grateful to all the local businesses that donated raffle prizes and to everyone who supported the event.”
