Siblings celebrate college graduation success

A Banff family have celebrated a double graduation from the North East Scotland College's Aberdeen campus.

Brother and sister Kieran and Mykaela Alexander were presented with their HNDs in legal services at the ceremony.

The siblings found themselves at NESCol at the same time after Kieran (26) gave up his electrical engineering career offshore to pursue a lifelong ambition to study law.

They found themselves in different classes at college but have now both progressed to the University of Aberdeen to study their LLB in Law and are attending lecturers together.

Kieran and Mykaela (21) both enjoyed their time at College and were unanimous in their praise of the law lecturing staff.

Mykaela said: “The lecturers on the course were just brilliant and had so much valuable knowledge and experience to pass on."
