Sewer works lead to long term street closure in Huntly

Owing to essential sewer diversion works by an external contractor, there will be a 68-day closure of Deveron Road in Huntly, Aberdeenshire Council has announced.

From May 16, the road between the junctions of the A96 trunk road and Deveron Way will remain closed – with access only being provided to emergency vehicles and affected properties.

A diversion will be in place via Deveron Road - A96T-George V Avenue - Gordon Street – Market Street - King Street - Deveron Road

Site notices will be erected in due course indicating the temporary restriction to traffic and the alternative routes where applicable.
