Aberdeenshire schools remaining closed on Tuesday due to poor weather





A number of schools have been forced to remain shut or are opening late due to adverse weather.

Several primary schools and high schools across Aberdeenshire will not be opening their doors on Tuesday, January 7, due to snow.

The Gordon Schools in Huntly remains shut to all pupils for the second successive day, but Gordon Primary School will open, albeit delayed.

Alford Academy has reopened and will operate as normal. Aberchirder Primary School has reopened but will have a delayed start, the same goes for Banff Primary School.

Largue Primary and Rhynie School are both closed. Scores of other schools will remain closed, including Turriff Academy.
