Police Scotland arrest two males after incident in Elgin sees women taken to hospital with serious injuries
Police have arrested a 38-year-old man and a 17-year-old male in connection with an incident in Elgin which left two women in need of treatment for serious injuries.
Officers were called to a property at Manbeen Place after a report of concern for a person this morning.
Emergency services, including specially trained officers, attended where two women were found with serious injuries.
A 38-year-old man and a 17-year-old boy were arrested in connection with the incident.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "At around 11.50am on Monday, April 21, we were called to a report of concern for person at a property in the Manbeen Place area of Elgin.
"Emergency services attended, including specially trained officers, and two women, aged 39 and 33, were taken to hospital for treatment to serious injuries.
"A 38-year-old man and a 17-year-old male youth were arrested in connection.
"Enquiries are ongoing.
"There is not believed to be any threat to the wider public however officers remain in the area and anyone with any concerns or information can approach them, or call 101 quoting incident 1238 of Monday, 21 April, 2025."
