ALFORD Heritage Museum is inviting the public to learn the "Secrets of the Museum".
The new event, taking place next Thursday (May 26), will encourage visitors to inspect the depths of the museum's collections.
Inspired by BBC series Secrets of the Museum, the public will be able to track the top restoration and conservation efforts by the Alford team.
Announcing the event on Facebook, an Alford Heritage Museum spokesperson said: "Did you watch Secrets of the Museum on TV?
"Alford Heritage Museum may not be as large as the V&A, but it still has a wealth of fascinating objects tucked away in its collection."
"Our collection is unusual and we want you to enjoy it.
"Join one of our volunteers in a small group to explore and handle some interesting objects and hear their stories.
"Hear the stories behind the objects.
"Stay and visit the museum after the session."
Secrets of the Museum will kick off on Thursday, May 26, from 11am to 12.30pm
Tickets for the event will cost £10, but Friends of the Museum can enjoy a half-price £5 ticket.
