Science and Technology set for Heritage Centre

The Garioch Heritage Centre in Inverurie is holding a Science and Technology Exhibition from the Saturday, October 10 through to Satrday, November 21. 2020.

The exhibition will be centred around a range of instruments and equipment from science education through the years at Inverurie Academy.

Also on display will be a highly detailed replica of Neil Armstrong’s Apollo 11 Space Suit which is on loan from Dallas Campbell , a commercial Drone on loan from DTL, Oldmeldrum and other interesting objects.

There will also be some touch-free interactive exhibits on loan from Inspectahire and University of Aberdeen School of Geosciences.

It is hoped that Dallas Campbell will be able to join visitors on the morning of Saturday, October 10 and that The Critter Keeper on site during the morning of the November 7.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions this is a ticketed event and tickets can be purchased from the Centre or online at https://gariochheritage.co.uk/upcoming-events/.

The exhibition will be open from Thursday – Saturday from 10am – 4pm.
