The exhibition has been drawn from a private collection of props and costumes sourced from various museums, leading auction houses, film studios and TV prop departments.

Screen-used movie props and intergalactic fashion from everyone's favourite movies or TV shows highlight the central role that props and costumes play in cinema storytelling.

The exhibition offers a rare opportunity for any movie buff or Sci-Fi enthusiast to experience these out-of-this-world artefacts—up close and personal.

Nora Radcliffe, one of the directors for the Centre said “We are absolutely thrilled to be hosting this.

"It’s yet again an example of how we can attract high quality exhibitions and events to the Centre for the people of the Garioch to enjoy.”

On show (Tuesday – Sunday) from Saturday, July 2 through to Sunday August 14 in the iconic, listed loco works building – it promises to be an exciting chance to see the collection for the first time ever in the north-east of Scotland.

Entry charges vary from £5 for a concession up to £12 for a family ticket.

Tickets can be purchased online or at the door.
