The event was held in the town’s Deveronside Club at the start of November.

It was open to former pupils and also teaching staff.

As part of the reunion the past students got a tour of the school and raised funds to support it.

The £1000 was presented to the academy just before the Christmas break.

A spokesperson for Banff Academy said: “A cheque for £1000 was kindly presented by a group of our former pupils - the class of 1976.

“This generous donation will help fund our S1-3 health and wellbeing activities.”
