Overnight drainage improvements are set to take place on the A90 road at Toll of Birness between Monday, September 9 and Friday, September 20.

To ensure the safety of roadworkers and motorists the work will be undertaken under temporary traffic lights on weeknights between 7.30pm and 6.30am.

An Amey spokesman said: “All accesses within the traffic management will remain open during the works.

“The essential works will increase overall safety and reduce flooding on the carriageway for more than 13,100 road users who use this route each day.

“All schemes are weather dependent and may be cancelled or rescheduled if weather conditions are not favourable.”
