Buckie are roadworks round for coming week





A number of roadworks are due to run in Buckie and the surrounding area over the course of the coming week.

Repair work on McLaren’s Brae in Buckie continues, the damage having been caused by a period of torrential rain.

Just along the road, Scottish Water aim to be finished work to repair a broken boundary box outside 10 Cliff Terrace by tomorrow (Monday).

Lamppost replacement work is being conducted by the council at two locations in Buckie - Baron Place to the Yardie and Nos 14-110 Main Street.

Openreach are due to begin work outside 10 Middleton Court in the town at some point before Monday to enable new localised ultra-fast broadband connections. This is expected to last for three working days.

Meanwhile, the council are scheduled to install a sign this week outside 33 Crown Terrace, Portgordon.
