A95 between Craigellachie and Mulben to close for full week





A full week road closure will be applied to carry out a £1 million resurfacing project this month.

The A95 between Craigellachie and Mulben will close from August 11 to August 21.

Work will be carried out under a full closure between August 11 at 5pm and 6.30am on August 19 to ensure the safety of both roadworkers and motorists.

There will then be two further overnight closures of the A95 between 7.30pm and 6.30am on August 19 and August 20.

Traffic management is scheduled to be removed by 6.30am on August 21.

The project, being delivered by Amey on behalf of Transport Scotland, will address defects on nearly 1200 metres of the A95 carriageway between Belngarrow junction and 420 metres north of Knockans Farm.

During the road closures, a signed diversion will be in place.

Southbound traffic will take the A96 at Keith then turn left onto the B9015 at Coul Brae Roundabout and then left onto the A941 at Rothes before turning left onto the A95 at Craigellachie.

Northbound traffic will take the same route in the opposite direction.
