Road closed after fallen tree damages building

Damage to a former mill building due to a fallen tree on the Fyvie to Rothienorman road led to its closure this morning.

A spokesman for Police Scotland said: "Work is under way to remove the tree and to ensure that the building is in a safe condition.

"We expect the road to be closed for several hours until this is completed and would ask drivers to use an alternative route."
