Retirement beckons for Grampian Opportunities stalwart

A LARGE gathering of well-wishers filled the Drouthy Laird function suite in Inverurie last Thursday evening.

The occasion was in honour of the retiral of GO, Grampian Opportunity's development worker Linda Singer.

An Inverurie lass and occupational therapist Linda has been known for her tireless work with GO for almost 20 years.

But her retiral doesn't mean she'll be hanging up her helping hat entirely as she will continue as a volunteer.

For the past few months she has been advising her successor, the new manager Tricia McLean.
