Busy Buckie road set to close this week to allow for surface repairs





A main through road is set to close this coming week to allow of surface patching works.

The affected area will run from the Buckie Drifter, past Marchmont Crescent and up to the junction with March Road North. Due to begin on Monday, the work should be compete by Friday.

A diversion will be in place following the route East Church Street,, High Street, A942, A98, U65L and March Road.

Outside 5 Great Eastern Road, Buckie Scottish Water should finish urgent sewer repairs by Monday, June 16.

The firm are also due to finish replacing a 5in trap outside 29 New street in Buckie by this Tuesday.

Over at 48-50 Douglas Crescent in the town Openreach are scheduled to start work by June 26 for 10 working days to clear a blocked BT duct.

The firm will also be down the road at No 8 will be installing a fibre broadband duct, which should be finished by June 17.
