Repair work for Banff harbour to be discussed at event

A public engagement event will discuss proposed repair works at Banff harbour.

The informal drop-in session will look at plans for the railway jetty and the east and north piers.

It will take place from 6-8.30pm on Thursday, June 27 in community room 6 at the Deveron Community Sports Centre in Banff.

An Aberdeenshire Council spokesman said: "Anyone attending the session will have a chance to speak to members of the design team from consultants AECOM and the council’s harbours team, which will be on hand to answer any queries.

"If you cannot attend the event you can contact the harbour’s civil engineer, Mark Stewart, on 01467 530953 to discuss the planned repairs."
