Record number of positive cases across Moray

A record number of new cases of coronavirus have been confirmed in Moray within the last week.
A total of 194 people have tested positive for Covid-19 since September 8, up from 186 last week.
This taking the area's total since the outbreak began to 3334.
Over the same seven days there were 1083 negative cases, which is a slight fall from 1167 cases the week before.
No deaths were recorded in Moray.
NHS Grampian – which includes Moray, Aberdeenshire and Aberdeen City – has now confirmed 33,219 cases of coronavirus since the outbreak began – up 2318 from last week's update.
Moray neighbourhood update
All 24 different 'neighbourhood areas' in Moray confirmed at least three cases of coronavirus between September 5 and September 12.
Elgin remains the worst-hit town, with 62 cases, compared to 66 the week before.
Buckie confirmed 15 cases, with 17 in Keith and Fife Keith, 18 in Lossiemouth and nine in Forres.
The following areas have also confirmed cases of the virus:
- Mosstodloch, Portgordon and seaward (29);
- Heldon West, Fogwatt to Inchberry (21);
- Cullen, Portknockie, Fondochty, Drybridge and Berryhillock (13);
- Fochabers, Aultmore, Clochan and Ordiquish (nine);
- Lhanbryde, Urquhart, Pitgavney and seaward (nine);
- Findhorn, Kinloss and Pluscarden Valley (eight);
- South Speyside and the Cabrach (seven);
- Rafford, Dallas, Dyke to Dava (six);
- Rural Keith and Strathisla (six);
- North Speyside (six);
- Burghead, Roseisle and Laich (four).
