Message to Aberdeenshire and Moray drivers: take extra care today

Police Scotland are asking motorists to take extra care today due to icy conditions throughout Moray and Aberdeenshire.

A spokesperson said: "Roads are icy, especially in areas where they have been untreated.

"Allow additional time for your journey, drive carefully and be mindful of the road conditions."
