Police information appeal after Ellon Castle Gardens vandalism

Police are appealing for information after a vandalism incident took place at Ellon Castle Gardens on Monday.

A shed was damaged within the walled gardens and various items in it were damaged or destroyed.

The incident took place between 2pm and 4.30pm.

PC Stephanie Ward of Ellon Police Station said: “Our enquiries regarding the vandalism are in the early stages and currently on-going.

"A shed has been damaged and various items contained within were damaged or destroyed.

"The castle gardens is a well-maintained historic site which is enjoyed by the local community”.

Anyone with information is asked to attend the local Police Station or call 101, quoting incident number PS-20220404-2180 or call the register charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 if they wish to remain anonymous.
