Police issue appeal over missing Lossiemouth schoolboy

POLICE are appealing for information to help trace an 11-year-old boy who has been reported missing from Lossiemouth.

Charlie Durkin was last seen leaving his home in North Covesea Terrace around 8.30am today, when he was believed to be walking to school.

He may also have returned home to collect a bright pink-coloured bicycle.

Police say that as well as his home town, Charlie is known to frequent the Elgin area.

Charlie is around 5ft 2in tall, of slim build and was wearing school uniform – a black puffa-style jacket, white shirt, black trousers and black and white Nike trainers.

He is also believed to be carrying a black and white Vans rucksack.

Anyone who has seen Charlie or who may have knowledge as to his whereabouts is asked to contact police on 101, quoting incident number 0916 of April 12.
