Police Scotland appeal for witnesses after Alvah theft by housebreaking near Banff – with ‘small white Ford Fiesta size van’ of interest to officers
Police are hunting a thief or thieves who broke into a home in Banffshire earlier today and stole possessions including a watch.
The housebreaking happened between 10 and 11 am on Friday, October 31 in the Alva area, with a small white van spotted in the vicinity of the theft of interest to investigating officers.
A Police Scotland spokesman said: “We are appealing for information in relation to theft by housebreaking in the Alvah, Banff area.
“An address was broken into and items including a watch were taken, a small white van similar in size to a Ford Fiesta was seen driving in the area just prior to the discovery of the break in.”
