Moray police appeal after Dufftown window is smashed





Police are appealing for witnesses and information after a midnight incident saw a window smashed in a rural village.

A window at a premises in the Church Street area of Dufftown was smashed in a 20-minute period between 11.50pm on Monday, October 14, and Tuesday, October 15, at 12.10am.

Constable Anna Steventon appealed for help with the police’s enquiries.

She said: “We are appealing to anyone who have witnessed this incident or has any information to come forward.

“Additionally, if you have any CCTV or dash-cam footage which could assist in our enquiries, please contact police via 101 quoting incident 0001 of October 15, 2024.

“Alternatively, Crimestoppers can be contacted anonymously on 0800 555 11.”
