Podcast gives an introduction to the history of the Picts in the north-east

World renowned expert on the Picts in Moray and Aberdeenshire, Dr Gordon Noble of Aberdeen University has created an online podcast of some of the work of the Northern Picts project.

Following many requests for a background and introductory talk, Dr Noble has created and shared a free podcast.

As he said:"I've listed to requests for the content of the first Northern Picts podcast and wowsers - I think I'm going to have to do more than more talk!

"For now I've recorded Northern Picts Podcast I which is a laid back tour of some of the golden oldies of the Northern Picts project - excavations at Dunnicaer, Rhynie and the recovery of the Gaulcross silver hoard."
