Cars, motorbikes and other vehicles from a bygone era were exhibited at the Banffshire Classic Car Experience on Saturday.

Visitors to the event at St Mary's Car Park in Banff were also able to travel in them to bring back memories from the past or experience the drive for the first time.

It was organised by the town's Rotary Club and is one of the group's main fundraisers during the year.

Vehicles that were on display included a Chevrolet Corvette Stingray, Morris Minor Traveller, Triumph Stag, Saab Convertible, Volkswagen Beetle, a 1973 Morris Minor, Hillman Minx, Mini Cooper Sport, Mercedes CL600, Land Rover and an Alfa Romeo Spider.

For a donation to Rotary Club funds, visitors were able to travel in the car of their choice, chauffeured by the owner.

There was also a variety of motorcycles exhibited including BMW, Royal Enfield and Yamaha, with members of the Widows Sons Scotland Masonic Riders group in attendance.

Marco Crameri, the event organiser owns a couple of classic cars and has seen over the years the fun created for visitors who reminisce, often about childhood family cars, or a much-loved car belonging to a family member.

Attendees were able to enjoy refreshments throughout the day in the sunshine.
