Picture update: Two arrested following police drugs raid on Buckie hotel

TWO men have been arrested on drugs-related charges after police descended on a Buckie hotel.

Officers swooped on the Highlander Hotel in the town's West Church Street in the early evening of Sunday.

A heavy police presence still remained in force outside the hotel this afternoon as investigations continued.

A spokeswoman for Police Scotland said: "We can confirm two men have been arrested in connection with drug supply offences after a premises on West Church Street, Buckie, was searched on Sunday evening.

"Inquiries are ongoing."
