Partnership deal between north-east training companies is finalised

North-east training and competency consultancy, Ann McRobb Associates, has signed a partnership agreement with Array Training.

The newly announced deal will see the two companies working together with a focus on maximising efficiency and driving long-term safety solutions.

The collaboration will combine their services to deliver the full scope of non-destructive testing (NDT) training and competency, as well as providing Ann McRobb Associates’ global customer base access to Array Training’s technical knowledge and expertise.

Dyce-based Ann McRobb Associates was founded in 2012 and delivers a range of accredited, in-house competence courses onshore and offshore.

Direcotr Ann McRobb said she is delighted to welcome Array Training as an associate to support her clients in their NDT training and competence requirements.

Formerly known as Rigmar Training Centre, Aberdeen-based Array Training, established in 2015, provides global NDT training courses and examinations to over 27 countries.

Managing director Raymond Wilson has built his experience and reputation across the industry over the past 30 years.

He said: “Our skillset is closely aligned with Ann McRobb Associates’ service offering and we look forward to maximising this opportunity to bring a number of subject matter experts together to focus on improving and developing the field of NDT training."

Mr Wilson, who is also the chairman of the North East Branch of the British Institute of NDT, said the amalgamation of the diverse skills created by this partnership is a rarity among UK industry and demonstrates the importance of best practice in training and competency.
