Overnight closure of section of A96 to allow for crane recovery

The A96 will be closed this evening between the Drimmies and Colpy junctions north-west of Inverurie to allow recovery of a crane from a crash near the Oyne Fork yesterday.

The closure is expected to be in place from 10pm until 6am if completed but may be subject to extension to allow the operation to be completed.

A diversion will be in place using the A920 and drivers are asked to take this into account if travelling.
