The money will also provide resources to enable the organisation to deliver a 12-month programme for youngsters.

Director Angie Boyd Shearer said: “I am incredibly grateful to the Vattenfall Clashindarroch Wind Farm Community Fund for their funding support.

“These vital funds enable Full Colour Coaching to recruit a part-time Business Development Manager and a Trainee Full Colour Coach for one year as part of the wider development plan for the organisation.

“This will mean that more young people in Aberdeenshire and Moray can be supported through our mental health and wellbeing programmes.

“The support Full Colour Coaching receives locally is truly wonderful and we thank everyone for reaching out to us and using our services.”

The vision of Full Colour Coaching (FCC) is to have early preventative mental health coaching readily available to all young people in schools and the community.

The aim is to proactively build positive mental health and wellbeing to reduce the devastating impact of poor mental health on individuals and their families.

Coaching helps young people find solutions to the challenges they face by developing coping strategies that work for them enabling them to build resilience and confidence for life.

Coaching is delivered to schools on a regular basis, funding permitting, which culminates in activity away days for young people.

The activity days enable students to put their learning, through coaching, into practice through fun and approachable activities that are new to them.

More than 400 young people have received coaching over the past two years.

The Vattenfall Clashindarroch Wind Farm Community Fund for the two roles was administered by Foundation Scotland.

Full Colour Coaching will be advertising the new roles very soon but encourages any early enquiries to come forward by contacting Angie at angie@fullcolourcoach.com.
