A96 crash between Elgin and Forres results in person being taken to Raigmore Hospital in Inverness





One person has been taken to hospital after a rush hour crash on the A96.

The Scottish Ambulance Service were called to an incident near the railway bridge at Alves, between Forres and Elgin, at 8.30am today.

A casualty was taken to Raigmore Hospital in Inverness.

An ambulance spokesperson said: “We received a call at 0829 hours today to attend a road traffic collision on the A96 near Alves.

“We dispatched one ambulance to the scene and transported one patient to Raigmore Hospital.”

Police Scotland have been contacted for comment.
