North-east Wild West Town set to welcome back visitors

Wild West fans will be heading to Tranquility in August as the frontier town welcomes back visitors for the first time in nearly two years.

Owner Alistair Baranowski said: "We are absolutely thrilled to announce that our first Round Up for almost two years will be held on Sunday August 15 from 1.30pm. and it's sure to be another rootin tootin shootin fun filled afternoon.

"There will be lots of games, gunfights, refreshments and music to suit folks of all ages."

"Gunfight sketches take place at 2pm and 3pm approx and its a great day out for folks of all ages. "This is a free event and all are welcomed."

Last week the township welcomed its first audience in nearly two years when the "loons and quines fae Fraserburgh" came over for this their second visit to the town, aka Real Life Options (Broch).

Organiser Mary Burnett said: "Thank you all for such a wonderful day (again).

"We all absolutely loved it as Tranquility Wild West Town is a hidden gem.

"The performances were amazing, the activities were suitable for everyone, including our wheelchair user, the buildings are so interesting and the music was fantastic and our group had a perfect day out.

Tranquility is the best day trip venue we have ever visited."
