Buckie road restrictions put in place for filming of blockbuster Christopher Nolan movie The Odyssey to be lifted
Road restrictions to allow the filming of a major blockbuster are set to end.
A prohibition of waiting order had been in force on Commercial Road, Buckie near the fishmarket has been in force due to filming of Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey.
However, this is due to end on July 7.
Outside 67 East Church Street in the town, Scottish Gas Network (SGN) could be working up until July 28 to fix a gas escape.
Openreach are scheduled to be at a number of sites around town to undertake excavation work.
They are set to finish outside 48-50 Douglas Crescent by Wednesday..
Further along the road, at 140, work should have started by Monday for three working days.
Meanwhile, at 2 Silberg Drive the firm plan to get work under way by Tuesday for three working days.
Scottish Water are hoping to finish repairing a pipe at St Andrew’s Square in Buckie by Thursday, while at 8 Carnie Place, Wednesday is the target completion date to repairs to a stopcock chamber.
Moray Council are set to begin carriageway resurfacing work at some point between July and July 15 for five working days on the A98 at the junction of March Road.
