Cowboys and enthusiasts alike headed to Tranquility Wild West Town at the weekend for the summer round-up.

The event featured re-enactments, including an army deserter shoot out.

It was an exciting afternoon enjoyed by all who attended.

Outside of the re-enactments, there was the opportunity to explore the authentically designed wild west town, which includes a saloon, bank and jail.

Visitors could also try their hand at archery and knife throwing, or have a shot in the tin can alley.

There was some extra excitement at Tranquility recently when Noisy Red Cinema brought a team of 18 from all over England at the end of June, with some Tranquility actors also securing small parts in the production.

This was an incredibly rare opportunity for cast and crew to be involved in a western movie filmed in the UK.

Director Ash Ashley said: “Five days spent at the tremendous Tranquility Wild West Town, has done wonders for our shoot.

“What a unique experience it was for us to be able to shoot on a set this authentic and alive.”
