No new coronavirus cases or deaths in Moray for second week

NO new coronavirus-related deaths have been recorded in Moray for the second straight week.
The number of positive coronavirus tests also remained the same, with 86 confirmed cases and 20 deaths since the outbreak began.
Today's update from the National Records of Scotland showed no Moray resident died due to coronavirus between June 22 and June 28. Last week's update confirmed no resident died of the virus between June 15 and June 21.
Grampian-wide, 258 coronavirus-related deaths have been confirmed – a rise of three since last Wednesday. Two of those deaths were recorded in Aberdeenshire and one in Aberdeen City. One more death in the Highland council area has taken its total to 50.
Eight people tested positive for coronavirus across the Grampian region between June 22 and June 28, taking the number of cases confirmed by NHS Grampian to 1421. A total of 45 people are currently in hospital and fewer than five are in intensive care.
Across Scotland, 4155 people have died due to coronavirus, according to NRS figures. That includes all deaths where coronavirus was mentioned on the death certificate, even if the person hadn't tested positive for covid-19.
Of those deaths, 35 were recorded between June 22 and June 28. This is down on the 49 recorded between June 15 and June 21 and represents the ninth straight weekly reduction of deaths involving coronavirus.
A total of 16 deaths occurred in care homes. 47 per cent of coronavirus deaths registered to date relate to deaths in care homes, 46 per cent of deaths were in hospitals and seven per cent were at home or in non-institutional settings.
More than three quarters (77 per cent) of all deaths involving coronavirus to date were of people aged 75 or older.
The Scottish Government's daily update showed 2486 people have died within 28 days of testing positive for coronavirus. That is a rise of six deaths from last Wednesday.
In total, 263,600 people in Scotland have been tested through NHS labs and regional testing centres, with 245,341 negative tests and 18,259 positive. A total of 4071 have been discharged from hospital after testing positive.
