Following the success over the last year of the Ythan Valley Rotary clothing bank, the club has now reached out to other Rotary Clubs in the North East of Scotland.

Ythan Valley Rotary is now working in partnership with Central Buchan Rotary, Peterhead Rotary and Fraserburgh Rotary as it extends its outreach in the Buchan area of the north east of Scotland.

The purpose of this initiative is to support people of all ages who find themselves in short-term need for clothes to support them through a difficult time.

It was recognised within the club that the demand and referrals for clothing in the north east was increasing and by creating a partnership we could serve a greater geographic area with the benefit of greater cooperation between clubs.

This is a great example of Rotary groups and clubs working together.

To launch the partnership Ythan Valley's president Eleanor Macalister met with Central Buchan president Keith Hendry to pass on some clothing parcels.
