Speaking afterwards, Mr Logan said: "After the bustle of the election campaign it’s been straight down to work for the constituents of Aberdeenshire North and Moray East and I’ve been pleased to add to that with a constituency surgery.

“I'm grateful to the team at The Hub in Buckie for their assistance in arranging Friday's surgery.

“The constituency covers a large area stretching from Keith, Fochabers and Spey Bay in the west, right round the coast to Peterhead and Cruden Bay and I’ll be arranging surgeries in other communities soon.

“In the meantime, while my office is being set up, constituents can e-mail me for help or advice at seamus.logan.mp@parliament.uk and I’ll be pleased to see what I can do to assist.”

Further surgeries in other parts of Aberdeenshire North and Moray East will be arranged in the near future.
