Police warn about sneak-in thefts

Police are urging Inverness householders to be vigilant about the security of their properties after a recent spate of sneak-in thefts in the city.

Acting Chief Inspector Ross MacKillop, temporary area commander for Inverness, said: “Police would like to remind the public that they are advised to secure their property by keeping doors and windows closed when left unattended thus deterring anyone from being able to sneak in and steal property.

"I would ask that the public remain vigilant in terms of security and report any suspicious activity to us.”

Call 0845-600-5703 or Crimestoppers on 0800-555111.
