Gordon MP Richard Thomson has highlighted the latest funding round from the Make Tiny Changes Fund.

The scheme, operated by registered Scottish charity Tiny Changes, offers grants of between £2000 and £10,000 to fund research and support innovation that will improve the mental health of young people.

Mr Thomson is encouraging eligible individuals and groups who work with young people in this field to check out the offer and submit an application if they have an idea which can benefit.

Commenting, Richard Thomson MP said: “The Make Tiny Changes Fund can make a real difference in the lives of young people who are perhaps struggling with their mental health.

“Young people under 30 with an idea are particularly encouraged by the charity to get in touch.

“This is a relatively new charity, but I wish them well in their work and hope that people in the north-east engaged in the important work of mental health support will find it useful.”

The closing date for applications is November 10.
