Moray homes are among the best 'bargains' in UK

Moray has been listed as one of the top ten bargain places to buy a home in the UK.

According to Zoopla the region is the seventh least expensive part of the country, with an average price of £120 per square ft.

The online estate agent also claims that the average price of a house in Moray is £172,785.

North Ayrshire is listed as the cheapest, having an average square foot price of £108.

Six of the top ten are in Scotland.

The others are: East Ayrshire; Dumfries and Galloway; North Lanarkshire and Falkirk.

The Lancashire seaside town of Blackpool is also on the list, while the remaining three – Port Talbot, Merthyr Tydfil and Blaenau Gwent – are all in Wales.
