Moray & Banffshire Heroes 2025: Nominate your community champions
Across Moray and Banffshire there are those very special individuals who always go that extra mile for their communities, whether that’s helping out vulnerable residents or rising to the challenge when action is needed most.
Moray & Banffshire Heroes 2025 recognises these real-life superheroes with the community champion award.
NOMINATE your Moray & Banffshire Heroes by midnight, Sunday February 2, 2025.
The community champion of the year will be an individual who has a selfless commitment to making a significant contribution to their community on a voluntary basis to improve the lives of local residents.
Walker’s Shortbread is sponsoring the award for community champion.
Jill Armitt from Walker’s said: “The Heroes awards are such a great event to celebrate and recognise those that have gone above and beyond. Our people are the essence of our business and our place in the community is of huge importance to us.

Once all of your nominations have been submitted, our judges will whittle down your entries to create a shortlist and you will be invited to vote for your finalists.
The winners will be revealed at the awards ceremony at the Banff Springs Hotel on Friday, April 25, 2025.
