Monquhitter Primary School said a fond farewell to two treasured members of staff recently.

A familiar face in the school office, Anne Robson has retired after more than 20 years working in the school as both 'the office lady' and a pupil support assistant.

Earlier in the year, while everybody was stuck at home for lockdown, saw the retirement of Linda Gordon who has worked as an early years practitioner in Monquhitter Nursery for the past few years, however is a weel-kent face to many in the Cuminestown as she worked at the playgroup for a number years before this.

Both ladies were invited along to a special celebration at the school which was held outdoors to adhere to current guidelines, and the whole school were involved in thanking the ladies for their dedicated service over the years.

Head teacher Davina Gardiner said: "They will be really missed at the school."
