Met Office yellow weather warning continues for snow in the north-east

In the latest weather update, the Met Office has said that the current cold northerly airflow will bring further snow and hail showers across much of northern Scotland throughout Tuesday and into Wednesday morning.

Snow amounts of around 1-3cm are likely at all levels and in addition, strong winds will lead to some drifting.

Showers will become both lighter and less frequent through Wednesday morning.
