Man taken to hospital after A98 crash near Buckie





A man was taken to hospital for treatment after a one-vehicle crash.

Emergency services were called to the scene at Enzie, on the A98 near Buckie, at around 9.25am on Sunday.

Police, ambulance and fire crews all attended, with the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service sending two appliances - one from Buckie and the other from Fochabers.

A spokesperson for the SFRS said its crews used cutting gear and also helped to make the vehicle safe before standing down at 10.29am and leaving the scene at 10.42am.

A Police Scotland spokesperson added: “We were called around 9.25am on Sunday, August 18, to a report of a one vehicle crash on the A98 at Enzie near Buckie.

“Emergency services attended and the driver, a man, was taken to hospital for treatment.

“The road was closed and re-opened around 11am.”
