Man (35) arrested and charged after theft at Strathbogie Veterinary Centre in Huntly

A 35-year-old man has been arrested and charged after veterinary equipment and animal medication was stolen from a premises in Huntly.

The incident happened around 2.45am on Thursday, June 16, at Strathbogie Veterinary Centre on Gordon Street in the town.

Officers were quickly on the scene, eager to trace the medication – which can be "extremely harmful" to humans.

The arrested man is due to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court today.
