Speaking at First Ministers questions today Nicola Sturgeon said: "With the exception of East Lothian which moved from Level 3 to Level 2 this morning, I can confirm that the Scottish Government is not proposing and changes today to any levels which apply to each local authority area.
"The latest data shows that across the whole country and each local authority area the restrictions in place are having an impact.
"The number of new cases has stabilised and we have grounds for cautious optimism that numbers may be declining.
"There is also evidence that admissions to hospitals and ICU are also declining but it is important to note that these figures fluctuate on a daily basis.
"The national picture masks some regional variations and these will at present remain in place till December 11.
People living in level 4 areas should not travel outside their area unless essential.
"In Dumfries and Argyll continue to see drops they may drop to Level 1.
"Rises in Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire are being managed by local health teams and we do not consider that a change is needed at present but they continue to be monitored."
On Mid-Lothian she said: "East Lothian moved to Level 2 at six am today, but Mid-Lothian saw an increase which was a concern and test positivity also increased so we are keeping it in Level 3 at present."
