Buckie area roadworks round-up
A range of roadworks are due to be running in Buckie and the surrounding area this coming week.
Scottish Gas Network (SGN) will be working outside 30 Castle Street in Cullen undertaking a gas service alteration. Work is expected to get under way at some point between August 20 and August 28 and is expected to last for 20 working days.
At The Steadings in Findochty Openreach are enabling new localised ultra-fast broadband connections This activity involves excavation to Install telecoms duct to provide essential service and reinstatement. The work should be finished by September 4 at the latest.
Similar work is being undertaken outside 6 Shearer Avenue which should be finished by the middle of the week.
Damage caused by torrential rain has seen Moray Council conducting repair works in the Freuchny Road area of Buckie which could run until September 2.
Just up the road at East Church Street, SGN are installing a new gas connection which should be in place by September 29.
