Fishing from home, world class authors, create and make challenges, gym workouts, virtual tours and more feature in a new online resource launched by Live Life Aberdeenshire (LLA).

Life Live @ Home is a one-stop shop of virtual creativity and activity which can be accessed with the click of a button from the Live Life Aberdeenshire website.

A weekly programme has been developed by LLA’s teams across sports, physical activity and culture to showcase some of the services they provide to local communities, even when people are unable to visit facilities.

Aimed at families and individuals, there is a full range of engaging, entertaining and informative activities and resources for all ages to enjoy, be inspired, and keep active, while staying at home.

Highlights include a tutorial about the anatomy of a squid as it is being prepared to feed the fish at Macduff Marine Aquarium, strength and balance exercises aimed at older adults and multi-talented David Walliams talking about his hilarious children’s book ‘Gangsta Granny’.

New online opportunities will be added weekly and the team is looking to introduce online get-togethers and talks soon.

Look out for a What’s On list highlighting new events and activities.
