The company will also supply Kubota agricultural products in depots north of Perth, and groundcare and professional turf products north of Dundee.

David Hart, managing director for Kubota UK said: “This appointment reinforces Kubota’s commitment to its customers and the market

“As a full-line dealer, HRN Tractors will be in a strong position to make the future investments required in facilities, technology and staff, to actively support our customers across agricultural, groundcare and construction sectors.”

HRN’s dealer principal, Hamish Bruce has also welcomed the move and said the company was delighted to gain the Kubota franchise.

He said: “It supplies us with a wide range of agricultural, construction and groundcare products to sell to our growing customer base. We believe Kubota has massive potential for market growth in Scotland.”

The move will see HRN take over the Kubota dealership from a number of businesses including Forfar-based Netherton Tractors and Banff-based CC Powell Ltd.

It follows a move by John Deere to end its partnership with HRN Tractors at the end of October, and award its franchise for the north of Scotland to Netherton Tractors.
