The festival was originally scheduled to take place on Saturday, May 2, but will now take place on Saturday, September 12.

Friendly Fest 2020 is aiming to comeback stronger from the postponement, and has worked to improve its line-up.

The event will still go ahead at Keith FC's Kynoch Park, with all the original headline acts booked – plus a coup in the form of Janice Robinson, who will fly in from Florida especially for the event.

The acclaimed international singer was the co-founder of Euro dance group Livin Joy and wrote their massive 90s smash hit Dreamer, which topped charts and remains instantly recognisable.

Organiser Russell Aitchison hopes the re-scheduling will give people something to look forward to during a tricky time. He said: "We are delighted to have secured a new date to hold Friendly Fest.

"What’s more we have we managed to book the original Livin Joy singer Janice Robinson this time around. Janice’s live performances are unbelievable and we can’t wait for the crowd to experience it live on stage.

"It’s an extremely difficult and uncertain time for people at the moment but this will certainly give them something to look forward to."

Ocean Colour Scene tribute Ocean Colour Scheme also feature on the line up. A Northern Soul also travel to Keith with their tribute to The Verve and Richard Ashcroft. Finally Scotland’s number one Spice Girls Tribute Spiceworld will have the crowd dancing along to their show in tribute to the famous girl band.
