The B9014 which leads to Drummuir and Keith is scheduled to be out of action between Monday, October 11 and Friday, October 22.

Moray Council says the closure is necessary for public safety while masonry work takes place on the Parkmore Bridge.

Back in October last year a HGV travelling towards Dufftown struck the bridge with enough force to take out two rows of bricks.

In view of the risk of further falling bricks Moray Council's road department closed the road overnight.

Diversons will be put in place.
