The A941 south of Lossiemouth will close for approximately an hour from 7pm tonight, say Police Scotland.
The closure will be between the B9135 and Inchbroom Road to allow for a “reconstruction” to be carried out.
The body of John Geddes, who lived locally, was found near the A941 on Sunday, November 17.
Police Scotland believe the 33-year-old may have been hit by a vehicle.
Mr Geddes had been reported missing by his family several days beforehand after last being seen in the Coulardhill area of town on Monday, November 11.
In relation to this evening’s road closure, a police spokesperson said: “Traffic will require to divert along the B9135 to access Lossiemouth.”
